Release

Guess what?  My novel is now available for pre-ordering!

I can’t ship it to you yet, though.  But I will soon, within a couple of weeks.  And in the meantime, you get to experience some delicious anticipation!

Or something like that.  I’m a little scattered here, partly because I’m trying to handle the orders that are coming in, but also because I woke up this morning to a text from my friend Katie which read:  ”Jen r u up?  We got our fare.”  And so I had to stumble into my office all bleary-eyed and look at flights to Mexico.  Because I’m going there, with friends, for my fortieth thirtieth birthday in a few months. Not on my birthday, but around my birthday.  And Katie, who has held a job as a travel agent in addition to a job as a Playboy centerfold, insisted we BUY NOW. And so I had to text my other friends and then we had to decide whether or not we wanted to spend an extra $100 for eight extra hours in Mexico and after we decided hell yes I had to book my reservation.  And during this time The Boy was none too pleased by the lack of attention and my husband, who usually slinks out the door before seven intentionally avoiding the morning’s chaos, had decided to work from home and the plumber arrived to replace the kitchen faucet, which started leaking right as we were cooking dinner on Sunday night.

And so I’m feeling a little scattered and kind of like I want to hunker down with a book and a cup of tea.  But instead I’m emailing everyone I know and writing this post to let you know that MY NOVEL IS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDERING! And right now you should put off whatever you were planning to do after reading this blog post and click here.

And soon YOU’LL be hunkering down with a book and a cup of tea.
